Guided walks
Here in the foothills of the Appenines, we are lucky enough to be surrounded by stunning scenery
and nature. There are plenty of walks in the local area that you can do on your own, but to really get
an insight into the area - the flora, the fauna, as well as the local history, we highly recommend a
guided walk with local hiking guide Danilo.
Danilo was born in Lucca but spent his childhood both in Pescia and here in our valley and now
dedicates his time to running hikes and excursions in the area as well as studying the local wildlife
(he is particularly knowledgable about the local wolf population).
There are regular organised excursions that you can join, which are advertised on Danilo’s website and
which we can help you to book, but we can also arrange a more personalised walk that’s tailored to
your particular interests and abilities.
