Art classes with local artist Kelly Borsheim
Tuscany is considered by many to be the seat of all things art in Europe. This is in no small part thanks to the famous and very wealthy Medici family of Florence who commissioned works from such Tuscan heavyweights as Leonardo Da Vinci and Michaelangelo, to name just two. It’s this link with art, as much as it is the food, the rolling hills and the cyprus trees that brings throngs of crowds to this area every year, as it did Kelly Borsheim who arrived from the United States and worked as a street artist in Florence until relatively recently when she retreated into our valley to continue not only with drawing and painting but also sculpting. Why not benefit from a half-day lesson with Kelly to realise your own piece of artwork as a unique and memorable souvenir to take home. Her rates are very reasonable considering her very accomplished talent and for €50 per person (pastel materials included) she will spend three hours with you nurturint your artistic talent. Find out more about Kelly on her website.
